Team Lead & Quality Control Analyst

I played a key role in driving operational excellence within the EV battery manufacturing process. Despite the brief tenure, I successfully led a team of 7 quality control technicians across multiple shifts, improving on-time delivery by 20% and reducing quality control turnaround times by 25% through the implementation of lean methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. I managed high-impact quality control projects, overseeing the testing and validation of raw materials and finished products, while working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to optimize workflows and testing processes.
My expertise in advanced analytical instruments such as GC-MS and ICP-MS allowed me to take ownership of equipment maintenance, stock management, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. My role revolved around fostering collaboration among over 1,000 postdoctoral researchers across Sweden, enhancing communication and knowledge sharing within the academic community and its associated industries. I organized and facilitated more than 10 workshops and seminars aimed at professional development by calling in professionals from fields ranging from pharmaceutical, agriculture, and chemical to EV, providing guidance and mentorship to postdocs while promoting best practices in research and career advancement.
In my advocacy efforts, I worked to amplify the visibility and impact of postdoctoral research, driving a 20% increase in participation at association events. I also took an active role in counseling fellow postdocs on career progression, research challenges, and opportunities for growth. My efforts in mentorship and guidance helped empower postdoctoral researchers, ensuring their voices were represented in discussions on research policy and institutional support.

I coordinated and executed four high-impact events that provided valuable networking opportunities for over 100 postdoctoral researchers, fostering interdisciplinary connections and collaborative relationships across diverse research fields. My focus was on enhancing the postdoc experience by supporting new initiatives aimed at improving career development resources for over 150 postdocs, ensuring they had access to the tools needed for professional growth. I played a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies that significantly improved the dissemination of information and resources to the SLUPA community of more than 250 members. This increased engagement and ensured that members were well-informed about upcoming events, funding opportunities, and career development resources.
​In addition to my event coordination responsibilities, where I managed logistics, and budgets, and ensured a 20% increase in participation, I also provided administrative support by taking minutes at meetings and assisting with various organizational tasks. My mentorship efforts focused on guiding postdocs through their career paths, offering advice on research excellence, and empowering them to excel both professionally and personally.

Graduate Student Representative and Executive Officer
Animal Behavior Society, USA

I played an instrumental role in fostering professional development and mentorship within the animal behavior community. I successfully managed mentorship programs, pairing over 30 senior researchers with graduate students to promote networking and career growth. Through these initiatives, I contributed to the professional development of more than 70 researchers, facilitating mentor-mentee sessions and supporting their career progression.
I played a pivotal role in organizing two annual meetings and three professional development workshops, handling logistics, and ensuring timely follow-up for over 200 participants. My efforts helped boost engagement by 15%, and I collaborated with the executive committee to implement strategic initiatives that increased membership involvement. Additionally, I contributed to the development and execution of plans for building the Asian Affairs Committee and the member’s portal, connecting over 1,000 students globally with senior researchers in the field of animal behavior.
I provided administrative support, including coordinating society meetings, assisting with grant approvals, and managing the budget. During this period, I gained proficiency in Salesforce and SPLtrak, a customer relationship management database, that enabled me to streamline event registration and abstract processing, improving the overall efficiency of our operations. I also organized over six online events and helped in the planning of two international conferences with over 200 participants from 64 countries, fostering global collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field.
In addition, I utilized my skills in content creation, curation, and communication to manage internal channels, ensuring effective dissemination of information and enhancing public outreach for ABS’s initiatives. My work was central to promoting life science research and supporting the professional development of members across diverse stages of their academic careers.
